As the founder and a managing partner of StrateSphere, Tariq identifies, develops and executes sustainable growth initiatives for small to mid-sized companies leveraging untapped global markets.

Tariq is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in corporate development, global sourcing and technology transfer. He has a proven ability to foster business growth and vision through the implementation of joint ventures, management consulting capabilities and strategy execution. His portfolio of companies and past initiatives demonstrate his success in developing strategic alliances, sourcing capital and integrating acquisitions in many diverse industries ranging from Higher Education to Distribution and Manufacturing.

Prior to founding StrateSphere in 2005, Tariq held a managing partner position with The Ultimate Software Group/Midwest and later at Venture Assets LLC, a company providing investment capital and strategic guidance for technology companies. In 2003, Tariq founded and acted as a managing partner at Intersource IT, a company focused on providing IT and business process offshore outsourcing for US-based companies.

Tariq holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, a Master of Science degree from The Ohio State University and a Doctoral Studies ABD from Penn State University. He is a frequent guest lecturer at the Fisher Executive MBA program at The Ohio State University and has served on a number of local and national venture capital committees and task forces. These include Advisory Board and Founding Member of The State of Ohio Department of Development of Global Markets, Advisory Team and Board Member of The Ohio State University Fisher School of Business Center for Entrepreneurship, Board Member of The Ohio State University International Visitor Council and Member of the Board of Directors for the Emaar Knowledge Company.
